Marmak’s Land Information System Application (MiLISA) empowers municipal staff in the Clerk, Building, Planning, and Engineering department with their daily tasks to view, edit and update municipal permits and associated data.
MiLISA is designed to acquire, manage, retrieve, analyze, and display land records.

Planning
The Planning module comprises of a number of related components associated with land development applications.
Modules include:
Consent – Review of applications related to installations within city limits
Encroachment – Manages the legal and binding agreement between the city and an owner
Minor Variance – Small changes to building setback
Official Plan – A road map for city-building and development
Site Plan – Development proposals that require a Minor Variance and Site Plan Control approval
Registered Subdivision – New, separate parcels of land that can be legally used for the sale of lots
Zoning Regulations – Land uses that are permitted on a property
Lot Control – Regulates the sale or transfer of land

Building
The Building Module assists Building department staff to create, view, edit and update municipal building permits.
Modules include:
Permits Input Form – Captures all relevant information required to manage the building process
Inspection Forms – Track the status of all inspections required before issuing an occupancy report
Financial Forms – Keep track of financial disbursements
Document Attachment – Attach photos, images and documents to individual permits
Online Reports – Stats Canada, MPAC, Permit, Tarion, Occupancy, Infraction and many others

Bylaw
The Bylaw Module assists with the enforcement of municipal by-laws and provincial legislation pertaining to the minimum maintenance standards of properties. Staff can conduct investigations, collect and document evidence, attend property standards appeals, and testify in court.
Modules include:
By-Law input form - captures all relevant information required to manage a By-Law infraction.
Violations form – captures notifications and categories of various infractions
Municipal Order form – what remedial tasks were required to resolve the issue
Inspection form – When and what inspections were carried out by the officer
Document Attachment– attached all relevant photos and images
Reports - a number of customized monthly reports

License
The Licensing Module consists of various customized forms which make it easy to view, edit and update information associated to various types of licenses. The Licensing Module insures that municipal staff’s correspondence with citizens is documented and properly articulated.
Modules include:
Tree Cutting - Contains fields such as area description, applicant date issued
Dog Permits - Applicant, owner, fees, gender and license number in accordance with municipal codes
Lawn Watering - Information pertaining to Lawn Watering Conservation Bylaw and amendments
Yard Sale - Regulates local yard sale permits
Signs - Contains information regarding for mobile or trailer signs that require a license
