How we got to where we are now.

Marmak continues to grow its solution offerings and garner a superb reputation for delivering cost effective municipal solutions.

 

Since its founding in 1980, Marmak continues to be 100% Canadian owned and privately managed by its principals. The Marmak Group of Companies strives to exceed client’s expectations while continuing to grow in becoming the most responsive provider of cost effective municipal solutions.

 
 
 

In 2019, Marmak transitioned to a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, while continuing to support customers with local deployments.

In 1999, Marmak established the Municipal Partnership Program to assist municipalities implement asset management solutions. This Municipal Partnership comprises of over 100 clients whose participation has resulted in the development of various solutions.

  • 2007 Marmak is awarded Autodesk ISV status

  • 2006 Marmak deploys Mi Town in western Canada

  • 2005 Marmak establishes a national reseller channel

  • 2001 Marmak becomes a GIS "Autodesk System Centre"  

  • 2000 Marmak begins developing municipal web based GIS Solutions

  • 1999 Marmak receives Autodesk Canada "Top GIS Reseller" award

  • 1998 Marmak receives Autodesk Canada's "Presidents Club" award

  • 1997 Marmak establishes the Municipal Partnership

  • 1997 Marmak begins developing MapGuide™ applications

  • 1996 Marmak receives Autodesk Canada "Rookie of the Year" award

  • 1996 Marmak becomes an Autodesk Inc. Value Added Reseller

  • 1991 Marmak  establishes "Marmak Information Technologies"

  • 1982 Marmak Industries establishes MultiPath

  • 1980 Marmak Industries Ltd. is incorporated
